Lisbon in Motion

Dear colleagues,

The 15^th World Conference in Earthquake Engineering (15WCEE) will host Lisbon in Motion Workshop between the 20-23th of September.

The Lisbon in Motion (LiMO) workshop is open to anyone interested in earthquake risk reduction. The main objective of the workshop is to create and promote an action plan for earthquake risk reduction to the future of Lisbon downtown. It is an opportunity for students, technicians and researchers work together during 4 days, in the main areas: vulnerability, rehabilitation, retrofit, education and urban plan.

Participants will be able to:

- Engage in one to one networking possibilities, with their colleagues and researchers

- Gain visibility and exposure, once the outcomes of the work can be available for wider dissemination, due to the fact that the project is to be given to the Lisbon Municipality.

The workshop, completely organized by PhD researchers and PhD students, is free for those who attend the 15WCEE and for those who not attend the conference the workshop fee is 100€.
